One collection complete!

Been a while, but keep reading,

In a previous post I stated my collection goals. Well not much has changed except I have given up any notion of collecting OD&D, a fools errands for the money involved, though I will probably at some stage seek out some reprints just for the pleasure of reading them.

But anyway the reason to post this is going to be a little ramble through the completion of my White Dwarf Collection - it's true I am now the proud owner of issues 20-100, HUZZAH.

And there they are in all their glory.
Now for the ramble.
I love these so much and cannot believe how much stuff I remember reading bits. I guess because I literally read over them again and again they tended to stick.

I think that issue 30 was the first I actually bought but I'm also pretty sure that 40 was when I started buying them as they came out. Remember these were the days when you could pick up back issues at the store ( in my case Not Just Stamps as well as Ritz toys - happy memories).

So some memory highlights:-

41 The Snowbird Mystery, a great Traveller adventure, Andy Slack is something of a genius if you were to ask me.

42-47 Iriliam, what can I say? Timeless classic that has everything, including what amounts to a second language, pointless but awesome to my teen self

53 Minas Truth, I pored over these photos and wish I had the wherewithal to do this game justice. And who can forget the charge of the Knights of Dol Amroth, all one of him!!

56 Last Log, classy CoC scenario that was only improved by the awesome use of a Space 1999 Eagle in the photos, brilliant

57 SkyRig another just great Traveller adventure, proper Alien stuff.

59 on the road - this RW adventure just pressed my buttons, clever stuff.

62 Alien Werewolf in London - now this is just clever, such a simple premise but done incredibly well.

After 74 I was a casual buyer at best and by 100 the roleplaying had gone but I will now proceed to mention titles that stayed with me but I can't look at now as the mags have gone back into storage!
In no particular order as they come to me,

Freeway Deathride or something like it.
Eagle Hunt
Spuung ones, To Live and Die in Mega City One, a Day in the Life followed by a Night in the Death.
Sorry!
Tower Trouble.

And I can't believe I left out the Judge Dredd Games Day Spread - the hours I pored over those pictures. If anyone can direct me to any more info about this setup I would be grateful.

So many memories, such good times.
